Preface
     What does it take to be an outstanding paralegal in Texas? Three key ingredients in your success are your paralegal education, native intelligence, and determination. This book seeks to complement all three by bringing together in one volume a vast amount of material that is either essential for all paralegals or useful for many.

     Our focus is on the state of Texas—-state resources, state laws, and state associations. Some federal laws and institutions will also be included when they are directly relevant to the state, e.g., federal government jobs for paralegals in federal agencies located in Texas.

The book has eight parts:
